John Kramer to leave Great Falls Development Authority for Iowa

John Kramer, the man credited with playing a large role in revitalizing economic development efforts in Great Falls, is leaving for a job in Iowa.

Kramer, executive director of the Great Falls Development Authority http://www.gfdevelopment.org/ since October 2001, will take a job with a regional economic development group based in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on June 1.

Kramer, in an interview late Thursday, said he worked in economic development in northwest Iowa a number of years ago.

"They kind of lost momentum for about 10 or 15 years, and now they want it back," he said.
