Dartmouth Wins $100,000 Rice University Business Plan Competition

A team of MBA students from Dartmouth College won the grand prize in the 2006 annual Rice University Business Plan Competition.
The team’s company, Advanced Transit Enterprises, has developed a technology to improve fuel efficiency for the long haul trucking industry. It won the grand prize of over $165,000. The team intends to use the funds to commercialize a patented tractor-trailer rear drag aerodynamics technology.
