Chances of landing FutureGen plant called slim

Wyoming has only an outside chance of landing a $1 billion project to build a coal-fired power plant that produces zero emissions, Gov. Dave Freudenthal’s energy and telecommunications adviser says.
"But we’re going to take it," Rob Hurless said Friday.
Wyoming is one of nine states that have formally expressed interest in the FutureGen Industrial Alliance plant. The states have until May 4 to propose sites.
