Supermarket giant Albertson’s, Inc., has accepted and is preparing
to launch across its nationwide pharmacy network ARx, a cutting-edge software

more efficient by automating or simplifying many functions normally performed
by hand, over the phone, or by multiple employees.

Developed over a five-year period, ARx was created to be the key technology tool
in approximately 2,000 Albertson’s retail pharmacies. The nation’s third-largest
pharmacy operator, Albertson’s has in-house grocery pharmacies as well as
pharmacies within its subsidiary drug and grocery chains – Sav-on Drugs, Sav-on
