An Eagle-based technology firm is trying to help U.S. military men and women rehabilitate after losing limbs in battle.
TenXsys Inc. is working with Boise State University to develop and test small sensors that can attach to certain points on the body, collect data on how a person moves and then feed that information to a computer.
The ultimate goal is to help U.S. soldiers who have lost limbs in battle learn how to use their prosthetics and even return to active duty if they are willing and ready to do so, said Layne Simmons, vice president and chief operating officer at TenXsys.
