Intercontinental Truck Body business in Conrad, Montana continues to grow. Now able to fulfill a $29 million contract from the US military.

An important business in Pondera County is receiving an influx of money to better train its workers and expand the business. Intercontinental Truck Body http://www.itbusa.com/ manufactures truck bodies for service businesses throughout the United States.

Intercontinental Truck Body of Conrad received a $150,000 Workforce Investment Act Jan. 25 to train approximately 20 new employees as well as existing workers.

“When you start talking about economic development you’ve got to ask yourself what’s most important, and what we value is helping people get the job they need so that they can take care of their family and enjoy the best Montana has to offer,” Governor Brian Schweitzer said.

“Pondera County will always have a strong agricultural component, but this company brings value and economic diversity to the people of Conrad.”
