Billings, Montana technology company, Rocky Mountain Technology Group works with Uganda on AIDS efforts

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach him to fish and he eats for a lifetime.

That’s part of the philosophy behind Rocky Mountain Technology Group’s http://www.rmtg.com/ partnership with Uganda and its Ministry of Health.

RMTG, which was started in 1997, specializes in pharmacy-related software development.

The company has spent the past several years developing software and wading through red tape with the unlikely African client. ARVims 2.0 (anti-retroviral information management system) is already implemented in three hospitals in Uganda, with plans to have the software in eight more clinics sometime this spring. All 310 clinics in the Saharan nation should have the system installed in the next 18 months.
