NFIB begins scouting for young entrepreneurs – Scholarships available

The state and national branches of the National Federation of Independent Business on Tuesday announced the prelude to its annual entrepreneurial youths awards.

The Young Entrepreneur Foundation of the National Federation of Independent Business annually awards $1,000 scholarship awards to high school seniors who have demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative in a variety of ways, including test scores, membership in civic organizations such as Junior Achievement or the 4-H, or having already begun a small enterprise.

Applications will be accepted from Jan. 2 to March 15, but students can get a head start today by logging on to http://www.NFIB.com/YEF to find out details.
