Networking Resources For Entrepreneurs
Question: I’m a 20-year-old entrepreneur who started my first business at age 17. I’ve been putting 30 hours into it every week, and it now pays my way through school. But my biggest problem is finding others my age who are as passionate about business as I am. Do you know of any resources to help us 20-something entrepreneurs?
— Sam Odio, Charlottesville, Va.
Sam: Entrepreneurs reap huge benefits from a robust web of contacts, and that is doubly true for those who, like you, are many decades away from an AARP card. You and your peers can learn a lot from each other’s successes and missteps.
So short of starting a matchmaker service for lonely young entrepreneurs, how do you find your peers?
