Cornell University to link researchers, business – Project aims to create jobs and investment in Syracuse.

Cornell University will launch an effort today to tie its technology research to local businesses to promote economic growth in distressed areas.

The goal is to create more highly skilled labor forces, greater numbers of high-wage jobs and more private-sector capital investments.
