Missoula Company, The Inland Northwest Space Alliance to sign International Agreement in Live Video Conference on November 2.

In a live video conference, the Inland Northwest Space Alliance and Ireland-based CAPTEC Inc. will sign a strategic alliance agreement on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 9 a.m. at the University of Montana’s Gallagher Business Building, Rm. 104.
The agreement between INSA and CAPTEC provides partnership opportunities for both organizations in the biomedical and aerospace fields.
CAPTEC is a flight software development company located near Dublin that specializes in the production of advanced software for use in aerospace, aeronautics, industrial and medical imaging markets. CAPTEC supports the European satellite program with on-board software for altitude and orbit control, data management and instrumentation.
The Inland Northwest Space Alliance is a private non-profit aerospace development organization created in 2003 with the support of the University of Montana. INSA is an advocate for space exploration and aerospace development in the inland northwest. Through its work with government and the private industry, INSA is working to create a sustained high technology job market in Montana.
The video conference will also include discussion regarding EnterpriseMontana by representatives from the Montana World Trade Center, Montana Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Commerce, Congressman Denny Rehberg’s staff, Inland Northwest Space Alliance, and Enterprise Ireland.
EnterpriseMontana is a private-public initiative designed to support the research, commercialization, production and export of high value products and services from Montana businesses to worldwide markets. The mission of EnterpriseMontana is to accelerate the transformation of Montana companies into internationally recognized, export orientated, market focused and innovation driven businesses, resulting in improved economic prosperity.
“With the help and support of Congressman Rehberg and his staff, along with founding organizations from across the state, EnterpriseMontana has allowed CAPTEC and INSA to form a strategic partnership that will benefit Montana and Ireland,” said Kandy Raup, Director of Workforce Development at INSA. “This alliance will hopefully create more opportunities for other businesses in Montana and Ireland.”
