Entrepreneurs tout Boise environment – Panelists like worker quality, cost of living

The Treasure Valley is a great place to base a business because of the educated local workforce, the relatively low cost of living, easy access to recreation and inexpensive costs to build or lease a facility, several local business leaders told a group of investors and entrepreneurs Wednesday.

Four businessmen — Bill Jacobs of MarkMonitor, Lyle Jordan of Western Electronics, Brad Wiskirchen of Keynetics and Jackson Chao of NxEdge — took part in a panel discussion at the Intermountain Venture Forum, answering questions about why they have built and kept their businesses in Idaho.
