High Tech Boat Docking system from Dynamic Fabricators in Rathdrum, Idaho offers ultra durability and a 20-year warranty

Wade Wolcott calls his cooling systems for power plants "big swamp coolers."

Now the owner of Dynamic Fabricators http://dynafab.net has a new product that may be even cooler. The company is now in production of Ultra Dock, a new dock system using some of the same technology found in the cooling towers.

Strands of fiberglass — 48 of them — are wound in the same machine used for pressure pipes in the cooling systems used in cogeneration and other power plants. The proprietary 54-degree helical winding process is similar to that used in radial tires. The pontoons are foam filled for excellent flotation characteristics.

"It makes it strong and light weight," Wolcott said.

He and his crew spent the winter building tooling after a successful prototype was developed about a year ago. Production began this spring, and users are already raving about the docks and finger slips now in place.
