Colorado University launches business center – Students, local companies to work together

In an effort to enhance its training beyond classroom case studies, the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business will introduce its Center for Business Integration this fall.

The center aims to match faculty and students with local businesses seeking help with strategic problems and systems projects.

As the center’s director, Jim Marlatt, a former partner at Arthur Andersen LLP, will alert faculty members of project requests from local companies.

If applicable, faculty members will incorporate the projects into undergraduate and graduate business courses. Students then will work in teams to design and implement solutions for the company.
