WasteLANdz (Billings) hosting regional cyber competitions

WasteLANdz http://www.wastelandz.net/ , located at 3206 Sixth Ave. N. in Billings, has been selected to host three regional competitions for the World Cyber Games.

WasteLANdz has already held four events for local competition, and the events have now moved on to the regional level. In addition to the events being held here in Billings, four two-person teams will be traveling to Rapid City, S.D., for the Halo 2 Regional.

WasteLANdz belongs to the Northwest Region, which includes the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

So far, the Pepsi Bottling Company in Billings remains the only sponsor for the games
