"Innovation is as important to us as oil is to the Middle East."

Is New Hampshire doing a good job of leveraging its strengths as a high-technology state?

That was one of the issues discussed Thursday at a gathering of more than 140 technology entrepreneurs, economic development specialists and academics at the Highlander Inn.

The event focused on a newly released report, "High Technology in New Hampshire: The Future is Now," http://www.networknh.org./executivesummarynetwork.html compiled by NetworkNH, a coalition of business and academic leaders that promotes economic growth through technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
