High-tech firm plans to remain in region: Premier Technology still evaluating sites

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

A Chubbuck-based company that makes equipment used in the nuclear industry won’t be leaving southeast Idaho to build a new, larger headquarters.

Premier Technology, 170 E. Siphon Road, had considered locations in Texas and Nebraska in addition to four potential sites still under consideration in Pocatello and Blackfoot, according to Arlen Wittrock, director of public affairs and communication.
