International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula is One Wild Party this week.

On a 600-acre scrap of land in Panama, 72 species of bats mingle and thrive in apparent harmony n a phenomena long puzzling to scientists, who note that the tiny forest is home to more species than exist in all of Europe or the United States.

How, exactly, can such a small place support such a diverse crowd?

There’s only one possible answer: The bats must be hosting some sort of continuous international wildlife film festival.
