Missoula air travel soars to new heights
March 20, 2005 /
January air travel at Missoula International Airport was up 20 percent compared to the same month last year, according to Joe Easton, the airport’s interim director.
"The story is up. It’s incredible," Easton said.
More people are flying into and out of Missoula’s airport than any other airport of similar size in the contiguous 48 states.
"We’re No. 1. We have tremendous opportunity to get many, many places in one stop," Easton said.
