Airline adds Sheridan Wyo. to Billings, MT connections
March 20, 2005 /
In a couple of weeks, the 130-mile one-way trip between Sheridan and Billings could be cut to a 38-minute outing.
Big Sky Airlines will fly daily between the two cities beginning April 3. A one-way ticket from Sheridan to Billings or vice versa will cost $25 plus tax.
The Billings-Sheridan connection is part of the new air service plan being implemented at Sheridan County Airport.
Big Sky Airlines will also begin flying three times a day between Sheridan and Denver. The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded Big Sky a $336,701 annual subsidy for the Sheridan-Denver route.
