Workshops Help Montana Businesses Target The World

It’s time for Montana businesses to think big. Real big, as in international.

Two upcoming workshops in Missoula and Billings are designed to help state businesses do just that. "Competing in Global Markets: The Montanan’s Guide to Developing Business Around the World" will be held in Missoula from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9, in Gallagher Building Room 123 at The University of Montana.

The Billings workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in the Poolside Terrace Room of the Holiday Inn Grand Montana.

Both workshops are sponsored by the UM-based Montana World Trade Center, a nonprofit organization that helps state businesses establish or strengthen their international commercial capabilities.

The workshops cost $79 for MWTC members and $99 for nonmembers. They are intended for everyone from small-business owners and advisers to corporate executives — basically anyone active internationally or considering expanding their business abroad.
