Arizona governor: Invest early in children – "The future will not be solved with bidding wars for big companies. The future has 10 tiny little fingers and 10 tiny little toes."

Gov. Janet Napolitano called in about 100 Arizona heavy-hitters on Friday to talk about the state’s economic development and set forth a plan.

Napolitano asked business leaders to invest in children.

"We know that waiting until first grade is too late," Napolitano said. "Where we really need to invest is from birth up to 5 years."
