The W. K. Kellogg Foundation offers $190,000 grant to help low-income folks with taxes

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation announced a $190,000 grant Wednesday to help low-income Montanans save millions of dollars.
The money will be used to fund a pilot program by Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Montana to provide free tax preparation for low-income residents, said Alice Warner, the foundation’s program director.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites will be set up in Great Falls, Browning, Rocky Boy, Fort Belknap and Cut Bank.
In addition, a mobile unit will cruise various sites in Great Falls.
