Get a jump on what’s ahead at UM’s economic forecast session

Economic forecasts and brass-tacks tax talk are on the slate for a series of seminars in Missoula and other Montana cities over the next several months.

The annual seminar is presented by the University of Montana’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research. Director Paul Polzin will discuss what the year’s economic trends mean for Montanans, and take those trends into the future and offer forecasts.

Other experts from the business research group will make presentations on the forest products industry, manufacturing, agriculture, health care, and travel and tourism.
And Doug Young, a tax expert and professor at Montana State University, will talk about Montana’s shifting tax scene.
