Nampa firm sees success in service and storage – MPC keeps focus on personalized support and specific markets

The MPC Bowl between the University of Virginia and Fresno State last month was a "coming out party" for MPC Computers in Nampa, company officials say.

And like any proper debutante, expectations are high for a happy future. For MPC that future is the uncomely but profitable world of storage.

The company has begun building external storage units aimed at small and medium businesses that want to expand their server capacity. To do that, the company expects to add 30 jobs to its work force of 1,000, according to Ross Ely, MPC vice president of corporate marketing.
