City of Nashua, N.H., Deploys GIS System

"I can’t think of one city department that hasn’t benefited by its use. On average, I am deploying up to six new users every week," said Angelo Marino, chief assessor and GIS coordinator for the city.
The city of Nashua, N. H., is deploying an information system that captures geo-referenced, digital aerial oblique and orthogonal images for use by the assessors office, mayor’s office, fire marshal, building, code enforcement, fire, economic development, engineering, planning, public works, risk management and zoning departments.
