3 Montana Tech researchers reap millions

Three Montana Tech researchers have received $2.24 million in grants that they hope will have far-reaching implications for both the school and the state.

The five-year grants are part of a Idea Networks of Biomedical Research program that totals $16.6 million statewide. The state program is under the direction of Montana State University and also includes the University of Montana-Western, MSU-Billings, Rocky Mountain College and Little Bighorn College. Each of the three Tech projects will receive $150,000 a year for five years.
