MATR Adds User Entered Events Capability to Increase the Visibility of Montana Economic Activity.

During one 3 day period in Bozeman this summer, there were no less than 4 very important economic development meetings going on at the same time.

As the economic development activity continues to grow in Montana and in response to a desire to better plan and coordinate events, MATR has implemented a feature to its Event List http://www.matr.net/events.phtml to allow members to personally enter events. Hopefully this will increase the number and breadth of events listed on the site.

This service will be moderated to ensure that only events that are pertinent to Montana and Regional Economic development and associated areas (see the topics list on the left hand side of the MATR home page http://www.matr.net ) will be listed.

If your company or organization has an upcoming event, simply go to the Events list on the MATR home page and click on �Add an Event� http://www.matr.net/addevents.phtml After you enter the event, there may be a delay in seeing it on the MATR Events list as it goes through the moderator. The process should be self explanatory but if you have questions, please let us know – [email protected]

There has also been a featured to the weekly newsletter so that the upcoming events for the next week as well as any new events that have been entered in the previous week will be highlighted on the right side of the newsletter. Again, this is an attempt to raise the visiblity of activity and upcoming events.
