Featured Companies Selected to Present at Intermountain Venture Forum
Registration still open for those wishing to attend the event on Oct. 6-7th

From biotechnology to water treatment, home integration devices to environmentally friendly food packaging, the Intermountain Venture Forum will feature a wide variety of entrepreneurship at this year’s event. Organizers announced today that fourteen companies from six states — including Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah and Washington — have been invited to make formal presentations at the event, October 6-7th at the Boise Centre on the Grove.

“Venture capital investment isn’t always concentrated on pure technology firms. As this year’s group of featured companies shows, a unique business idea, solid plan, great management team, and opportunity for dramatic growth are the main factors for selection,” said Meg Carlson, Principal of the C&H Group and Chairman of the forum Presenter Selection Committee. “We believe this forum will be the best yet, due to our diverse group of presenting companies and our expert panels.”

The Intermountain Venture Forum brings together entrepreneurs and equity investors from across the West, highlighting a select group of early-stage companies. In addition to the company presentations, the two-day forum will feature guest speakers and three panel discussions led by experts. Joining the panels ‘Venture Capital Outside Silicon Valley’ and ‘ Bootstrapping – An Entrepreneur’s Guidebook’ is a new addition, ‘Startups and the Government Market.’

The forum provides tremendous networking and education value for entrepreneurs, government leaders and other venture community stakeholders. Event registration is $150 and includes access to all featured presentations, guest keynote & welcome speakers, three panel discussions, catered lunch and networking reception.

" The Forum proved to be a valuable and timely event for our company, allowing us to make one presentation to a large group of interested investors and providing invaluable networking with fellow presenting companies, investors and professionals,” said Jeffrey Moeser, CEO of Dedicated Devices, Inc. “DDi was able to meet interested investors, get great exposure, and ultimately had one of those institutional investors participate in our next round of fund raising. We were so pleased with the outcome, we are back again this year – not only for the presentation, but for the vital socialization of our company that occurs during all the networking opportunities."
