High school, Penn State to offer youth entrepreneurship class

The State College Area High School Delta program and the Penn State Small Business Development Center have teamed up to offer students a four-day experiential class in youth entrepreneurship on June 10, 11, 14 and 15.

This year, for the first time, the Penn State Small Business Development Center will be working with students during an intensive four-day youth entrepreneurship class. Students will be learning about what it takes to get a small business off the ground. Each student submitted a business idea that they hope to start one day and during the upcoming four days will get a cram course on how to run a small business. They will give a final presentation to a group of local small business owners as well as to Anne Hoag, assistant professor of communications.

For a complete outline of the four days with time/day of all learning modules, speakers and field trips, call Marnie Deibler at (814) 863-4293.
