New Mexico Creates New Technical Education Centers for High School Students

Education Division Governor Bill Richardson has announced plans to use $10 million in capital money to design and build new career and technical centers across New Mexico.

The centers will target rural and isolated communities with curricula and programs developed collaboratively with local two-year colleges and school districts. The goal of the new centers is to improve the transition and college-going rates of New Mexico students into college career programs and technical careers.
