Bruce Gjovig is entrepreneur coach and founder of the Center for Innovation in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The Center operates the Rural Tech Incubator and is building a 2nd incubator, the Ina Mae Rude Entrepreneur Center. The Centers efforts have resulting in over $100 million invested in more than 340 new ventures, creating 4,000 jobs in North Dakota. Gjovig has played a key role on developing key legislation to assist entrepreneurs including seed capital tax credits and the North Dakota Beginning Entrepreneur Loan Program, a loan guarantee program that does not require collateral.

Amber Nystrom is the director of social fusion for the Women’s Technology Cluster (WTC) in San Francisco, which supports select companies in IT, Life Science, and Social Ventures. Their model aims to build a community of highly select ventures with women in senior leadership positions and catalyze both business success and social impact through accelerated company growth, reduced risk, and facilitated access to capital. Their portfolio companies have raised over $100 million in equity in the last four years. Nystrom has co-founded two social enterprises and has extensive experience helping social ventures scale their businesses nationally and internationally. She is an advisor to Investor’s Circle, the World Bank, Stanford Business School and Berkeley HAAS on social enterprise, and a regular lecturer on hybrid business and funding models for social ventures.

Martin Tobias is a partner with Ignition Partners, focusing on infrastructure software investments. He has spent more than 15 years in operating roles in technology companies, and was the visionary force behind Loudeye Technologies, which he founded in 1997 and took public in March 2000. Through his leadership, the company grew to be one of the largest providers of audio and video enabling solution on the Internet.
