WTW is a project which conducts computer support groups and educational/evaluative guidance via personal computers and the World Wide Web for chronically ill, isolated rural women. The overall goal is to enhance the women’s potential to successfully adapt to their long-term illnesses even though they live where health information resources are limited and distances from health care providers are great. The program teaches chronically ill women the computer literacy skills necessary to find and discriminately evaluate Web site health information, provide health-related learning activities and expose them to the benefits of an online self-help computer support group.

Women who are interested in the project are encouraged to call toll free at 1-888-375-1317 at Montana State University College of Nursing, Bozeman, Montana or visit: http://healthinfo.montana.edu/msu/Clarann2.html
